The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anthony Mazzocchi made in the 5th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Liu Zhen. 8 minutes into the game, Jakub Kuszczak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Emil Chlapowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jakub Kuszczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Chlapowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Emil Chlapowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Kuszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jakub Kuszczak took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Chlapowski. Emil Chlapowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Pontus Sellberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pontus Sellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Brudnicki in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Pogoń1945Staszów's Jakub Kuszczak made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Chlapowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pontus Sellberg made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Enrique Prata sent off a good shot on target. Emil Chlapowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Kuszczak in the 34th minute of play. Juliusz Wojtowicz got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Liu Zhen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Prata got free with Pontus Sellberg in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pontus Sellberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Misiorowski in the 43rd minute. Wincent Pryla was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Giorgos Psichogiopoulos made the kick off in the second half. Pontus Sellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Brudnicki in the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Enrique Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pontus Sellberg was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. A collision led to Pogoń1945Staszów getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Damazy Tscherner hit a great ball. Pogoń1945Staszów's Izydor Dlugi was substituted for Zygmunt Szpakowski. In the 88th match minute, Pogoń1945Staszów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damazy Tscherner to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the game Benedykt Grunwalski made a throw-in which Roland Brudnicki played forward. In the 91st minute, 徐德伟 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damazy Tscherner kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Pogoń1945Staszów supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pogoń1945Staszów would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
