Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barry McCray kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry McCray in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Devils's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Devils's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarmo Laik in the 4th minute of play. When FC Devils's Dariusz Brysz in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Modlau's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Modlau's Boleslaw Slazak got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Devils's zone, Dominic Salazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Boruc came out of the goal and Dominic Salazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarmo Laik, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 19th minute Jarmo Laik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, Dariusz Brysz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Winszman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dariusz Brysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barry McCray in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Boruc saved FC Devils from getting behind. After taking down the ball on Modlau's corner Barry McCray fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Artur Boruc quite easily take care of the ball. Sebastian Winszman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Dominic Salazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Boruc. FC Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominic Salazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Modlau's attentive Boleslaw Slazak managed to snatch the ball when Amado Gilabert made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Modlau's Sebastian Winszman got control of the ball when Amado Gilabert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viktoras Rurin charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktoras Rurin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dariusz Brysz made the kick off in the second half. Artur Boruc was a little too slow when Jarmo Laik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-2. Sebastian Winszman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modlau made a substitution. Yanislav Lechev replaced Marcin Fronczak. Modlau made a substitution. Damazy Jucha replaced Jarmo Laik. Sebastian Winszman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Brysz in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, FC Devils's Dariusz Brysz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Winszman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Modlau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rangel Parashkevov was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Devils's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Devils's Rangel Parashkevov to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastian Winszman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sebastian Winszman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Brysz in the 79th minute of play. FC Devils's Rangel Parashkevov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastian Winszman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, FC Devils's Artur Boruc got control of the ball when Damazy Jucha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Winszman came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Devils's Dariusz Brysz. But to his dismay, Dariusz Brysz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 95th minute Modlau were awarded a corner. Barry McCray went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Modlau's corner Barry McCray fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Artur Boruc quite easily take care of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Modlau walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
