The audience thought a goal was coming when Dariusz Brysz got free with Ludomir Posadzki in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Devils's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Gendolla in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dariusz Brysz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomir Posadzki was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. EKIPAACHIMAAAAA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dariusz Brysz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Sienkiewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
