Edgar Smuskiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Brack in the 2nd minute of the match. Edgar Smuskiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Lewkowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Kacper Tobiáš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Domarecki in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hahay's Radoslaw Zakrzewski got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of Hahay booed when F.C. Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Moczkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Radoslaw Zakrzewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hahay's supporters rose to their feet, but Radoslaw Zakrzewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kacper Tobiáš breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 19th minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Edgar Smuskiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Kaider in the 20th minute of play forced F.C. Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Kacper Tobiáš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edin Džeko might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Smuskiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edin Džeko ran back to his position shaking his head. Hahay's Thomas Ulleberg suffered a sore knee after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Goito during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hahay made a substitution. Sebastian Banaszak replaced Thomas Ulleberg. After 27 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Goito. After some careless play in the Hahay defense, Edin Džeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Smuskiewicz. The Hahay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Smuskiewicz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslaw Zakrzewski in the 34th minute of play forced F.C. Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Kacper Tobiáš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Cezary Domarecki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hahay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Sosnowiec the free kick. Cezary Domarecki kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Kacper Tobiáš made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Cezary Domarecki sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Gaudencio Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half F.C. Sosnowiec were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cezary Domarecki to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 54th minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Edgar Smuskiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. Sosnowiec's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Konstanty Literski in the 56th minute. Cezary Domarecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Cezary Domarecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Tobiáš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Smuskiewicz came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko. But to his dismay, Edin Džeko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Edin Džeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute Edin Džeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Smuskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radoslaw Zakrzewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kacper Tobiáš read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iwan Cempa during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute of the match Robert Roman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kacper Tobiáš skillfully saved the ball. When F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hahay's goalie prevented a goal. Massem Mendes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edgar Smuskiewicz came out and tried to block the shot, but Massem Mendes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C. Sosnowiec had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
