Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Indiano could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Adolfo Adrio however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Adrio was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Mariano Lacasa put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adolfo Adrio. In the 20th minute, Bernabe Rojas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 26 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adolfo Adrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute of the game Marcos Gaztea made a throw-in which Melquiades Galtero played forward. Orlando Casaus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Adrio having to make a save. Mariano Lacasa scored 3-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Adrio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Enrique Firmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

0 descensos made a substitution. Luisito Leizarraga replaced Melquiades Galtero. Bernabe Rojas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. In the 58th minute of the match 0 descensos got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucas-James Joshua ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lucas-James Joshua got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 62nd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Adrio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Chile's Felix Garrido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcos Gaztea in the 66 minute of the game. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 70 played minutes 0 descensos got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Gaztea. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Bernabe Rojas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Bernabe Rojas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of 0 descensos booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the 0 descensos defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Adrio. The 0 descensos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Adrio should have stopped the shot. In the 82ndth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 0 descensos's Adolfo Adrio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Adrio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 87th minute of play forced 0 descensos's goalkeeper Adolfo Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Adrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Bernabe Rojas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Bernabe Rojas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 0 descensos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Rojas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
