Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andries De Putter got the match started through his kick off. Andries De Putter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries De Putter in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Andries De Putter notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lei Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after AFC United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. From a short distance, Chile's Xavier Figueroa, in the 11th minute, tried to place the ball behind Lei Bin, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Lei Bin came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC United's goalkeeper Lei Bin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Andries De Putter managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC United's supporters rose to their feet, but Andries De Putter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, AFC United's goalkeeper Lei Bin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. When AFC United's Andries De Putter in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lei Bin could save by the left post. In the 42nd match minute, AFC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordi Scherz to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Andries De Putter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Andries De Putter came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Huyghebaert in the 52nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Casaus hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Andries De Putter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Andries De Putter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Ken vrolix. Andries De Putter succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 65th playminute. AFC United made a substitution. Faustino Asprilla replaced Andries De Putter. Lei Bin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Ken vrolix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th match minute, AFC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken vrolix to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Xavier Figueroa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lei Bin quite easily take care of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Lei Bin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Lei Bin. AFC United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
