Edgar Gregorczyk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Gregorczyk having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Gregorczyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Joel Gaona sped through KS Blizne's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Gregorczyk. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hardy Skallergård, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Edgar Gregorczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of play. With a little luck, KS Blizne's Edgar Gregorczyk got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Edgar Gregorczyk made a huge save. Kacper Buczak's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kacper Buczak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, KS Blizne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kacper Buczak to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Gregorczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Gregorczyk. Edgar Gregorczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. In the 88th minute, Cyryl Dziurowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5.
