Diego Bradley made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by VN BAKITO's Blagoy Banovski. Thanks to some nice moves Isaac Constancio could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Marco Day however easily saved by the left post. After 45 minutes, Blagoy Banovski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VN BAKITO and the USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Blagoy Banovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Mcdonald to maneuver through the defense. After the first half USA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ruslan Rúklyov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. VN BAKITO's Gerasim Berberov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jenson Smith, made in the 61st minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, USA's Cassius Byrne dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 65 minutes into the match, VN BAKITO's goalkeeper Ruslan Rúklyov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Ruslan Rúklyov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cassius Byrne showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 82 minute of play. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. In the 87th minute Rusi Plochev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, USA's Marco Baker got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute of the match USA got a corner. VN BAKITO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jenson Smith ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the USA defense, Rusi Plochev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot.
