Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armando Toninelli kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Spada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Toninellis short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Armando Toninelli put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Spada was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 22 played minutes Martesana Inter got a freekick which was hit by Donato Lobo. Emilio Spada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced Martesana Inter's goalkeeper Emilio Spada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Spada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Emilio Spada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Fabio Domina sent off a good shot on target. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After 55 minutes of play Martesana Inter's Donato Lobo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Martesana Inter's Donato Lobo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Spada. Emilio Spada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Emilio Spada in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Domina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Martesana Inter's Emilio Spada. Emilio Spada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute of the match Biagio Mandara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Emilio Spada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Martesana Inter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Ibañez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Spada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Biagio Mandara hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Domina, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Domina in the 97th minute of the match. The supporters of Martesana Inter booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball.
