Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Ɍυƒυs™ defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Estrada. The Ɍυƒυs™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Estrada should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Lages, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gervásio Lages was slow to take the kick. During this time Ɍυƒυs™'s players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Lages in the 16th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício Estrada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurício Estrada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Maurício Estrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurício Estrada. Maurício Estrada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurício Estrada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurício Estrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Maurício Estrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Ɍυƒυs™'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Maurício Estrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervásio Lages was the one to do the kick off. Alex Parente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Lages in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Estrada having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play forced Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper Maurício Estrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Maurício Estrada. Ɍυƒυs™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Gervásio Lages recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurício Estrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Estrada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Parente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Estrada having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Ɍυƒυs™'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Maurício Estrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Maurício Estrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 86th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Estrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Ɍυƒυs™'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Maurício Estrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurício Estrada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Maurício Estrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Benedito Rego got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Ɍυƒυs™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
