The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafim Catranides was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolás DAndrea. Defensores del Ángel Gris's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás DAndrea having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 97th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicolás DAndrea. Nicolás DAndrea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
