Evelio Donzel hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Cristian Ur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Ur slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. Delmiro Gilesindo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmiro Gilesindo helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Gonchan saved Cieneguita from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute Cieneguita were awarded a corner. Delmiro Gilesindo went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristian Ur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Ur slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Cieneguita's Cristian Ur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Cieneguita were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ecuador's much stronger midfield.
