Bernardo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martins Palermo in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the game Patrick Angelsø made a throw-in which Sergio Mosquera played forward. 18 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's goal looked a bit too open when Martins Palermo came free, but Bernardo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Söderqvist in the 19th minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Lu Bing Yin in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fecha Libre's Qi Ning Sha. Bernardo Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martins Palermo went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martins Palermo in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Lima saved S.C. Ferrari from getting behind. If Gavino Hodei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, S.C. Ferrari's Tord Söderqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiliano Martínez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Qi Ning Sha made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by S.C. Ferrari's Lu Bing Yin. After 40 played minutes S.C. Ferrari got a freekick which was hit by Lu Bing Yin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martins Palermo got free with Bernardo Lima in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Söderqvist in the 45th minute of the match. Norbert Pollák hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio de Andrade came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Tord Söderqvist made the kick off in the second half. Fecha Libre's attentive Yu Tian Yan managed to snatch the ball when Lu Bing Yin made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Söderqvist came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's Kandemir Ülkü sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardo Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martins Palermo went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. S.C. Ferrari's Dorian Severo was substituted for Patrick Angelsø. Bernardo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igli Tare in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igli Tare in the 70th minute of play forced S.C. Ferrari's goalkeeper Bernardo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.C. Ferrari's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gavino Hodei was slow to take the kick. During this time Fecha Libre's players had a chance to rest. Acácio de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Emiliano Martínez made a huge save. Gergely Bollobáss short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Emiliano Martínez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 85 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Severo came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Igli Tare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fecha Libre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igli Tare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorian Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fecha Libre's Kandemir Ülkü got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Bollobás in the 94th minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fecha Libre fans cheered their team off the field, for while S.C. Ferrari had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
