A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when FFC Merainies 03's Oskar Törnblom fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 11th minute. The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oskar Törnblom in the 45th minute. FFC Merainies 03 were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabio Botello took the corner. The corner led FFC Merainies 03's Fabio Botello to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oskar Törnblom made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Ksawery Gongola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Ksawery Gongola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ksawery Gongola scored 6-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Andre Genkenaar kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute. FFC Merainies 03's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ksawery Gongola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Sugoi charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Sugoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FFC Merainies 03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Craandijk in the 94th minute of play. FFC Merainies 03 were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabio Botello took the corner. The corner ended in Leon Craandijk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. There was no doubt that FFC Merainies 03 were the better team. FFC Merainies 03's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
