Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Özer Akartürk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After having played for 75 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Özer Akartürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Özer Akartürk however easily saved by the left post. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Niğdespor's Özer Akartürk got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
