Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Berkovtsi's Valentin Zlatkov. But to his dismay, Valentin Zlatkov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Valcho Hadzhiatanasov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Zlatkov in the 20th minute of play. When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Zlatkov in the 24th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Zlatkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 95thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Berkovtsi's Milko Gargov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Berkovtsi fully deserved thier win.
