Denis Bourceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. C.A.Tapiales - Münster were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rudy Siong took the corner. 23 minutes into the match, C.A.Tapiales - Münster's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Denis Bourceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niko Leibrandt got free with Julio Vera in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niko Leibrandt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Niko Leibrandt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Tapiales - Münster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Simão Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Denis Bourceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Bourceanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niko Leibrandt made a kick off. C.A.Tapiales - Münster's Denis Bourceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Tapiales - Münster from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Denis Bourceanu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Denis Bourceanu made a huge save. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Niko Leibrandt came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A.Tapiales - Münster's Denis Bourceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Tapiales - Münster from getting a goal against them. After 67 minutes C.A.Tapiales - Münster's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Bourceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helmut Schepers in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A.Tapiales - Münster's Denis Bourceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Tapiales - Münster from getting a goal against them. After 86 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. C.A.Tapiales - Münster's Denis Bourceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Denis Bourceanu quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, C.A.Tapiales - Münster could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
