An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 3rd minute of play forced Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Boguslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Francisco Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Powiśle Warszawa's Boguslaw Siwek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Rocendo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Lorenzo Rocendo came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Powiśle Warszawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Rocendo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Powiśle Warszawa getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dominik Maziarski hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Rocendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Lorenzo Rocendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Lorenzo Rocendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boguslaw Siwek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 42nd minute of the match. Boguslaw Siwek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Powiśle Warszawa's Boguslaw Siwek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Powiśle Warszawa from getting a goal against them. The Powiśle Warszawa fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Powiśle Warszawa's Lorenzo Rocendo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 66 minutes into the game, Powiśle Warszawa's Lorenzo Rocendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boguslaw Siwek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Chile's Jose Manzanedo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gösta Ekgren in the 72 minute of the game. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Rocendo in the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Powiśle Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Bakes. Powiśle Warszawa made a substitution. Ryan Giggs replaced Miroslaw Drab. Wawrzyniec Trac hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Boguslaw Siwek made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Guillermo Fontirroig sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Guillermo Fontirroig kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boguslaw Siwek. That made the score 4-1 in the 84 minute of play. Boguslaw Siwek had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Mariano Lacasa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Lorenzo Rocendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Powiśle Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Rocendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Abay Uygun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Abay Uygun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boguslaw Siwek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 96th minute of play. Chile's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Powiśle Warszawa had won, even though Chile had held more of the ball.
