The corner went over the outstretched arms of Peru's goalie and right to Wawrzyniec Trac. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Peru's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Boguslaw Siwek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 18th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Rocendo in the 20th minute of play. Gösta Ekgren made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Teobald Turek however managed to control. 25 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boguslaw Siwek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boguslaw Siwek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Powiśle Warszawa defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boguslaw Siwek. The Powiśle Warszawa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boguslaw Siwek should have stopped the shot. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gösta Ekgren in the 34 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenzo Rocendo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Rocendo in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, Powiśle Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Trac to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boguslaw Siwek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Peru's Milagros Fraga got a free kick in the 72nd minute.
