Marco Day came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl-Erik Mattsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredric Olsson was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Fredric Olsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassius Byrne went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Cassius Byrne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Anthony Meza kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 27th minute of play forced Sannegården BK's goalkeeper Fredric Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Erik Mattsson in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rdth minute of the game Karl-Erik Mattsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredric Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Erik Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Erik Mattsson was the one to do the kick off. Fredric Olsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Sannegården BK's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Fredric Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sannegården BK's Fredric Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Sannegården BK from getting a goal against them. Fredric Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 71st minute of the match. Cassius Byrne took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredric Olsson. Fredric Olsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Sannegården BK made a substitution. Rahmi Şerafeddin replaced Szczepan Zbydniewski. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. The supporters of Sannegården BK booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koby Fletcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sam Campbell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Fredric Olsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Sam Campbell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fredric Olsson, 2-5. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rahmi Şerafeddin in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Róbson Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Sam Campbell took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Fredric Olsson to make any attempt to save it. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
