The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Fred Karlsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 5 minutes of play. In the 8th match minute, Club Atletico Rio Tercero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Mark to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, Alejandro Jerrald made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Club Atletico Rio Tercero booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Öberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute of play. Alejandro Jerrald's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 37th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobo Mark's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Fred Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Öberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Karlsson in the 47th minute of the match.

53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Jerrald came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Club Atletico Rio Tercero got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Rubio. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Alvar Öberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacobo Mark went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Mark in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Jerrald's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Jacobo Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Alvar Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Karlsson in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Marcelo Eladio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Hector Arnas was substituted for Fred Karlsson. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Joachim, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Jerrald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
