Despite this Eraldo Bulla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eraldo Bulla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. As Melfi 1929's Eraldo Bulla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of play. Davide La Marca struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for As Melfi 1929. After having played for 45 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fox 武松 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davide La Marca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Napoleon Walaszkiewicz notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
