The supporters of Gärsnäs BF booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Dorval didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Philippe Ambroise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, Ernso Constant cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rasmus Wållander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kenneth Albohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. When Ernso Constant came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Haiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernso Constant couldn't finish the play. In the 24th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot Kinnman to maneuver through the defense. Krister Fridlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. In the 36th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasmus Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gärsnäs BF's Rasmus Wållander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernso Constant in the 37th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Alex Kellbom put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Gärsnäs BF's Alex Kellbom got a free kick in the 38th minute. Jonathan Alphonse struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Rasmus Wållander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. Jonathan Alphonse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rasmus Wållander having to make a save. Rasmus Wållander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernso Constant, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Philippe Ambroise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Gärsnäs BF getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Thor Nordin hit a great ball. Haiti's Philippe Ambroise got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Alphonse to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Thor Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Ernso Constant came free, but Rasmus Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rasmus Wållander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Alphonse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Dorval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasmus Wållander having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Malm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. Karl-Oskar Stenberg's late challenge caught a Haiti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haiti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
