In the 12th minute of the match, Diego Ribas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Ricciardo got free with Dante Lacasa in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. After 91 played minutes Classe A Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Paraibano. Sérgio Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 93rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Gasly, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Classe A Futebol Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
