Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Erik Cantona made the kick off and thus started the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Cantona in the 5th minute of play. Erik Cantona was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Saga TF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Joachim Forseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 15th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jo Gvardiol hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, one of Chile:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chile. Orlando Casaus struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Joachim Forseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Orlando Casaus scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joachim Forseth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik Cantona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Cantona in the 40th minute. If Erik Cantona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Joachim Forseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Erik Cantona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Erik Cantona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Saga TF's Erik Cantona got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Cantona came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Garrido hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 86th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Erik Cantona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
