Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the game, Alekos Roubakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Alekos Roubakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Javier García didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier García saved O.T.E from getting behind. In the 18th minute, O.T.E's Orlando Rivera ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 21stth minute of the game Orlando Rivera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier García prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of O.T.E booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 30 in the game by Orlando Rivera from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. O.T.E were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lakis Kazantzakis took the corner. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Rivera in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Orlando Rivera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The O.T.E fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when O.T.E's Orlando Rivera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 44 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by 乔铮飞. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Rivera in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Rivera in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Orlando Rivera put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Orlando Rivera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Rivera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 68th minute Orlando Rivera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, O.T.E's Javier García got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Javier García. Javier García yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's 乔铮飞 got a free kick in the 86th minute. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by O.T.E's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but O.T.E's Javier García did a great save. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier García. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. O.T.E were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
