Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ramón Abila took the kick off in the first half of the match. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Basilio Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lamarque F. C. defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Garaona. The Lamarque F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Garaona should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 13th minute of play forced Lamarque F. C.'s goalkeeper Basilio Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Garaona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. After 16 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Garaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Kaminski in the 20th minute. Basilio Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Garaona having to interfere. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Ramón Abila scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-3.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Garaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Basilio Garaona successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Basilio Garaona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Juan Sebastián Puig to score against Basilio Garaona in Lamarque F. C.'s goal. 1-5 after 60 minutes. Robert Kaminski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Basilio Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxi Moco's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxi Moco helped the player get up and apologised. Lamarque F. C.'s Basilio Garaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Garaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Maxi Moco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Abeitia charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Abeitia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lamarque F. C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Lamarque F. C.:s Basilio Garaona showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. In the 88th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute Maxi Moco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lamarque F. C. throughout the match.
