Alaaddin Solskjær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alaaddin Solskjær was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. If Lars Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Sundström in the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alaaddin Solskjær saved FC Kurdistan from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Sundström got free with Marco Day in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alaaddin Solskjær took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lars Sundström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Day firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Sundström got free with Marco Day in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute of the match Raphael Moore sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alaaddin Solskjær skillfully saved the ball. Fredric Hybbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Alaaddin Solskjær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of USA booed when FC Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keefer Carragher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alaaddin Solskjær tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Fredric Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Hybbert in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 minutes FC Kurdistan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. 57 minutes into the match, Fredric Hybbert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredric Hybbert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Edward Mcdonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alaaddin Solskjær. FC Kurdistan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Mcdonald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. FC Kurdistan's Elliot Nordgren was substituted for Lars Sundström. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Iwan Kasiewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Ubaldo Ritchie replaced Roni Ronaldinho. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Levander, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 77th minute, Jörgen Levander made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. After 87 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Keefer Carragher who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Keefer Carragher almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. 89 minutes into the game, Khalid Parry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Alaaddin Solskjær was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Levander came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörgen Levander in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. The FC Kurdistan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching USA's performance. The match ended with a win for USA.
