Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mauro Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mahir Sıbgatullah came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Sabadim Harammes PRD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Castelo Branco to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Sabadim Harammes PRD's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Mauro Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mahir Sıbgatullah, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahir Sıbgatullah in the 37th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Mahir Sıbgatullah ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Bălăiță came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Eder Lopes scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eder Lopes to strike the kick off in the second half. Mauro Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 51st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauro Cunha. That made the score 2-2 in the 51 minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Bălăiță in the 59th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionel Bălăiță in the 64th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sabadim Harammes PRD reached it. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sabadim Harammes PRD to leave the ground with a draw.
