Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivaylo Yaninski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the game, Vali Pescaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivaylo Yaninski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Slavcho Batakliev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 刘永亦 in the 26th minute of the match. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, 刘永亦 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 4-0. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ivaylo Yaninski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Strashilishte borovest's Dencho Kanazirski got a free kick in the 47th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ivaylo Yaninski made a huge save. In the 57th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivaylo Yaninski quite easily take care of the ball. In the 60th minute 刘永亦 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 刘永亦 took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boycho Dzhendov in the 68th minute of the match. Strashilishte borovest's Ivaylo Yaninski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Strashilishte borovest from getting a goal against them. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Strashilishte borovest booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Pescaru in the 72nd minute of the match. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Boycho Dzhendov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. After 89 played minutes Strashilishte borovest got a freekick which was hit by Vali Pescaru. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
