Lisandro Rameriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faustino Montez's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Montez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Rameriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a rather tough play, Legacy Youth Academy's Victorino Lyadzhin got a free kick in the 50th minute. Abraham Alguacils short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Lisandro Rameriz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Faustino Montez was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 61 minutes into the match, Legacy Youth Academy's goalkeeper Lisandro Rameriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. When Gaudencio Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legacy Youth Academy's protests and gave Gaudencio Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Panama booed when Legacy Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Miguel Miralles came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Miralles couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Miralles during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Miralles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Panama's Lisandro Rameriz threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lisandro Rameriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Legacy Youth Academy's Lisandro Rameriz got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Panama eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
