Nicanor Roano hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Filipo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute of play forced Orestes Football Club's goalkeeper Mauro Filipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes Orestes Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Filipo saved Orestes Football Club from getting behind. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mauro Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Orestes Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Mauro Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Erubiel Remicio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Orestes Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Erubiel Remicio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Erubiel Remicio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Erubiel Remicio sped through Honduras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. 65 minutes into the game, Urbano Sesuldo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Christian Sancho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erubiel Remicio in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Orestes Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Serafino Mano kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The Orestes Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Orestes Football Club's Erubiel Remicio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Mauro Filipo in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There was no doubt that Orestes Football Club were the better team. Orestes Football Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
