Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Nuno Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Coutinho came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Américo Ramires hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Nuno Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nuno Coutinho. After having played for 24 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Campus Douro Academy's Nuno Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Américo Ramires got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute of the match Campus Douro Academy got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manuel França ran over to the corner to take the kick. Manuel França made a great header on Campus Douro Academy's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. 43 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Nuno Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telmo Sesimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Telmo Sesimbra made the kick off in the second half. If Telmo Sesimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Coutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Ramires in the 63rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Tomas Illescas took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Nuno Coutinho to make any attempt to save it. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Campus Douro Academy. Victor Sousa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 1-3. After 90 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Campus Douro Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Campus Douro Academy were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Sousa took the corner. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Venezuela had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
