An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 19th minute of play forced Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Marcos Otsando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Otsando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Otsando saved Rejunte de perros from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Marcos Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes, Tomas Berganza made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Rejunte de perros's Marcos Otsando tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Otsando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 30th minute of the match. After the first half Panama were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Rejunte de perros's Marcos Otsando got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rejunte de perros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Otsando, making the score, 0-9. In the 78th minute, Panama's Tomas Berganza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Otsando. Marcos Otsando yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Otsando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Marcos Otsando made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Marcos Otsando in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rejunte de perros throughout the match.
