Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Moises Fernandino started the match with the kick off. In the 7th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rubio to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Maikel Lammers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roeland van der Werff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Roeland van der Werff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Maikel Lammers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maikel Lammers really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Maikel Lammers scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 3-0. In the 32nd minute, Maikel Lammers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Northern Titans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menno Heck in the 41st minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menno Heck, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 43 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Roeland van der Werff tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maikel Lammers to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Moises Fernandino could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Jan-Joost Zevenhuizen however easily saved by the left post. Gerald Maurits hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Heerspink in the 57th minute of the match. Menno Heck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th match minute, Northern Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Maurits to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 69 minutes, Mateo Leguizamo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Leguizamo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maikel Lammers in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Menno Heck notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Valentino Ferrant hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neeme Van Achteren in the 80th minute of play. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Heerspink in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Felix Lembeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Northern Titans's Ruud Arnolds was substituted for Maikel Lammers. 93 minutes into the game, Northern Titans's Ruud Arnolds nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Northern Titans walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
