Robbie vrolijx hit a great ball. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laurend Steenbecks having to make a save. After 23 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilian Hombroeckx in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Steven Pulix's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Manzanares firmly grabbed it by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guilian Hombroeckx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. AUcimont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Pulix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Colombia booed when AUcimont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikodemus Kronwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Abram Secada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laurend Steenbecks. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-5. In the 94th minute, Tim-Jan Terhorst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Colombia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colombia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
