Holer Nolan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of The Gonzez booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Robert Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Gonzez's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Carlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, The Gonzez's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Holer Nolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holer Nolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of The Gonzez's Holer Nolan. Holer Nolan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Holer Nolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, The Gonzez's Goyo Sánchez got a free kick in the 27th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for The Gonzez. Holer Nolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Xu Yi Jian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Holer Nolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of the match. Holer Nolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marko Vennerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marko Vennerberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to The Gonzez getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Marko Vennerberg hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in The Gonzez's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holer Nolan came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holer Nolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Gonzez's Marko Vennerberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. Facundo Cadaval was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 68 played minutes The Gonzez got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Qvalfeldt. Holer Nolan made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Holer Nolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Holer Nolan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 74 minutes into the match, Mattias Qvalfeldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mattias Qvalfeldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pasachai Jitjai in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. The Gonzez's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Luca Zorita drilling the ball in to score 2-6 behind The Gonzez's goalkeeper. A collision led to The Gonzez getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bo Lundqvist hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Holer Nolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holer Nolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 89th minute of the match. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Holer Nolan made a huge save. Mexico played a much better game than The Gonzez and deserved their victory. The The Gonzez players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
