Patrick Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Norman Grieve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norman Grieve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Grnd Juventus NNNL's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Norman Grieve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grnd Juventus NNNL's goalkeeper Norman Grieve, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gergely Balázs got free with Thiago Pliego in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grnd Juventus NNNL's goalkeeper Norman Grieve, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grnd Juventus NNNL's Norman Grieve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Gergely Balázs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Grnd Juventus NNNL's Artur Trusov got a free kick in the 26th minute. Patrick Carneiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thiago Pliego came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrick Carneiro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 34th minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norman Grieve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norman Grieve. Norman Grieve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 45 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Balázs came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 48 minutes, Gergely Balázs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grnd Juventus NNNL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gergely Balázs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grnd Juventus NNNL made a substitution. Árpád Almási replaced Nilton Ferraz. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The supporters of Grnd Juventus NNNL booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gergely Balázs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grnd Juventus NNNL's supporters rose to their feet, but Gergely Balázs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 played minutes Grnd Juventus NNNL got a freekick which was hit by Bálint Solti. Grnd Juventus NNNL's Norman Grieve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Grnd Juventus NNNL from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the game, Bálint Solti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grnd Juventus NNNL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. After a rather tough play, Grnd Juventus NNNL's Bálint Solti got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norman Grieve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergely Balázs, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Balázs in the 68th minute of the match. Norman Grieve came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Grnd Juventus NNNL made a substitution. Edvin Tischler replaced Bálint Solti. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Grnd Juventus NNNL's Patrick Carneiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grnd Juventus NNNL's Ádám Soós was substituted for Gergely Balázs. Norman Grieve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 88th minute. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ádám Soós, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Norman Grieve in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
