After a defensive mix-up in Zograf FC's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaklin Kortov came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bogomil Kandov kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Ferdinand Alzen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferdinand Alzen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Miro Vúlkovski made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bogomil Kandov however managed to control. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Alzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Honduras booed when Zograf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Alzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Miro Vúlkovski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdinand Alzen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zograf FC the free kick. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Vaklin Kortov made a huge save. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zograf FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick.
