In the 11th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Ludwig de Pelsmaecker. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ludwig de Pelsmaecker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Van Nel came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute of play. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Andris De Baere got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Ludwig de Pelsmaecker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 40th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludwig de Pelsmaecker having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wim Van Nel to make the kick off. The supporters of Mexico booed when ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alek De Cerpel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ludwig de Pelsmaecker. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Luca Zorita scored 0-7 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ludwig de Pelsmaecker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Ludwig de Pelsmaecker. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludwig de Pelsmaecker having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Zorita in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludwig de Pelsmaecker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andris De Baere in the 75th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 77th minute. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Ludwig de Pelsmaecker did a great save. Wim Van Nel kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Ludwig de Pelsmaecker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Facundo Cadaval was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathis Goorts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 95 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς throughout the match.
