Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timmy Friberger started the match with the kick off. Mariusz Zdeb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 2nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariusz Zdeb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Björkö BK's Mariusz Zdeb. Mariusz Zdeb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Zdeb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Björkö BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Elias Strömqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Mariusz Zdeb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mariusz Zdeb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Björkö BK's Mariusz Zdeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mariusz Zdeb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Zdeb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Zdeb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 39 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Mariusz Zdeb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Björkö BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Björkö BK's goalkeeper Mariusz Zdeb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariusz Zdeb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Björkö BK's Jakub Kornecki managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Andino in the 59 minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Björkö BK's goalkeeper Mariusz Zdeb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Felix Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mariusz Zdeb firmly grabbed it by the left post. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Mariusz Zdeb threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Sebastián Puig, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mariusz Zdeb made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Björkö BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Agustín Saelices almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Björkö BK's Mariusz Zdeb did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play forced Björkö BK's goalkeeper Mariusz Zdeb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Friberger came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Björkö BK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rutger Jelm hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mariusz Zdeb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Björkö BK's goalkeeper Mariusz Zdeb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. A collision led to Björkö BK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. André Strömberg hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Mariusz Zdeb in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariusz Zdeb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariusz Zdeb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Mariusz Zdeb to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
