After 43 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Valente was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. In the 54th minute, Feliciano Baumar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feliciano Baumar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. With 58 minutes on the clock, Roberto-Carlos Brasil commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Scofield getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Roberto-Carlos Brasil hit a great ball. Fabio Iago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Antonio Indiano charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Indiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Scofield's Cayetano Urdin was substituted for Feliciano Baumar. The supporters of Scofield booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scofield's Fabio Iago got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75thth minute of the game Ignacio Mastache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scofield's Alvaro Valente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led Colombia's Kevin Mastache to fire away a dangerous shot which Alvaro Valente despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 79th minute, Valerius Ginsberg made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Valerius Ginsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Indiano made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kevin Mastache however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 89th minute of play forced Scofield's goalkeeper Alvaro Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Antonio Indiano with Abram Secada as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
