Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enio Coelho had several of the Peru's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Rolando Noboa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Peru booed when CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Dylla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ter Stefanek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. When Cengizhan Soyurgal fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's protests and gave Cengizhan Soyurgal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Cengizhan Soyurgal got a free kick in the 24th minute. Luz Tejedor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ter Stefanek. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ter Stefanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tuna Tankan hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ter Stefanek. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enio Coelho went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ter Stefanek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ter Stefanek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS made a substitution. Ramón Furtado replaced Enio Coelho. After 71 minutes CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ter Stefanek did a great save. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Ter Stefanek made a huge save. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Casado in the 77th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Ramón Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
