The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ovidio Delfino hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ovidio Delfino hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Dimitris Bournouxouzis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 徐谦磊 kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toro F.C the free kick. The supporters of Toro F.C booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute Dimitris Bournouxouzis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Dimitris Bournouxouzis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Pēteris Schmeichel in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Cyryl Rybak put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pēteris Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Honduras's Milagros Cabal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Milagros Cabal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Honduras protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Milagros Cabal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Honduras! Honduras:s Lautaro Navarro showed great skill when he stopped Ovidio Delfino:s penalty. The supporters of Toro F.C booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toro F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Honduras for a fine match.
