Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) White Eagles FC's Gez Eyre started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Nalo Jaen hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind White Eagles FC's goalkeeper Máximo Azeredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Máximo Azeredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Azeredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Máximo Azeredo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Steve Buckley hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, White Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Máximo Azeredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Azeredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but White Eagles FC's Máximo Azeredo did a great save. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind White Eagles FC's goalkeeper Máximo Azeredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Matty Robson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matty Robson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Máximo Azeredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Máximo Azeredo saved White Eagles FC from getting behind. Máximo Azeredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Azeredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Máximo Azeredo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 41 minutes, Matty Robson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. White Eagles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matty Robson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Matty Robson scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matty Robson in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Máximo Azeredo in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Máximo Azeredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Eddie Cartwright hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, White Eagles FC's goalkeeper Máximo Azeredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Máximo Azeredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 73rd minute of play forced White Eagles FC's goalkeeper Máximo Azeredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, White Eagles FC's Máximo Azeredo got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Matty Robson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by White Eagles FC's Matty Robson. But to his dismay, Matty Robson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gez Eyre in the 93rd minute of play. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, White Eagles FC could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
