Juarês da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 8th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Scotland Titans got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Motta. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Abreu in the 29th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Scotland Titans's Doni Abreu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Abreu in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Alcântara. In the 38th minute, Léo Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juarês da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Juarês da Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês da Silveira having to interfere. In the 55th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Luca Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juarês da Silveira. That made the score 2-2 after 71 minutes of play. In the 78th minute Augusto Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Alcântara in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Scotland Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Salgado to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Scotland Titans's goalkeeper Juarês da Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. 93 minutes into the game, Dida Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scotland Titans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. A collision led to Scotland Titans getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dida Azevedo hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
