Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jyrki Sillanpää went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 25th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Jones in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Aguilera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Colombia booed when Los Hijos de Doña Beija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higinio Aguilera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Mastache showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 95 minutes into the match, Albino Brion notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
