Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Tajfun's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Piotr Wyrzykowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Witold Wnukowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Witold Wnukowski in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Wyrzykowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Witkowski hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Piotr Wyrzykowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piotr Wyrzykowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Tajfun's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Piotr Wyrzykowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Wyrzykowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boruc Ryback's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boruc Ryback helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Boruc Ryback hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tajfun's Piotr Wyrzykowski. 0-2. In the 43rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Piotr Wyrzykowski in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boruc Ryback fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, Tajfun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Skirzynski to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Piotr Wyrzykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 57th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Witold Wnukowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tajfun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Tajfun's Piotr Wyrzykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 65th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The nice shot from Daniel Zorita in the 82ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Piotr Wyrzykowski had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Tajfun's Witold Wnukowski got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Piotr Wyrzykowski made a huge save. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Tajfun getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Wiktor Zaremba hit a great ball. After 95 minutes, Tadeusz Skirzynski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tajfun and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Cristian Sancho. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Tajfun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Skirzynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
