Marian Văduvescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Lucian Stere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucian Stere's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquito Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. If Narciso Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

FC Steaua Pildesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Teodosio Itzaina scored to the left of an out of position Marian Văduvescu, making the score, 1-4. After a rather tough play, lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's Cai Avellaneda got a free kick in the 91st minute. FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save FC Steaua Pildesti from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
