When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Efraim in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Curtis Gorman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a GloRy F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GloRy F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Efraim in the 34th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Honorio Efraim sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Honorio Efraim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Valentinos Sabanis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fetih Sargut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kleon Argyriou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Curtis Gorman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GloRy F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorio Efraim in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Honorio Efraim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Honorio Efraim sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 77 minutes into the match, Honorio Efraim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Efraim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 86 minutes, Curtis Gorman made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When GloRy F.C.'s Honorio Efraim in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. GloRy F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
